Displays

These are some of my displays that I painted for the Brushfire. I certainly appreciate the opportunity to paint so much pottery that I don't have to take home. My house would be overwhelmed with stuff if I kept all the pieces that satisfies my addiction.

This will forever be one of my favorite banks.
The matching collectible is irresistible.

My second fav.

To be honest, I cannot claim the design as my own. A customer (who happens to be an illustrator for children's books) whipped out this fantastic original design shortly after uttering,
"I just can't think of a good idea, this blank plate is so intimidating!"
Whatever... I liked it so much I copied it.

Cute lil' Monkey collectible.

Another fav of mine...

Cute but not the colors I really wanted.

This snail was a pleasant surprise when I took it out of the kiln.
I like it much better now than while I was painting it.

Honestly can't remember where I got the idea...

We do many Popcorn bowls as Custom orders but they look nothing like this.
I like this much better...

I liked the gift I made for Mom so much I decided to make a display for the store.

In Preparation for Mother's Day we ordered in plenty of Vases.
We didn't sell any until I made displays though.

I made this frame with lil' Gabe Eldredge in mind for the photo.
The photo of Gabe was taken by Michael Eldredge

Bonus to being the manager:
I get to show off my hubby in picture frames!

Just another display hoping to give customers ideas

Okay, the idea I stole from Pier 1 or something, but the colors and painting style are all my own.

These last few are some of the first displays I painted for Brushfire

Custom Orders

These are some Custom Orders that I painted while working at Brushfire.
The family and kid plates are a hit and I do many on a weekly basis.
... yes, I am getting sick of stick figures.

You better believe I took the time to measure every checker - and I will not do it EVER again. This plate took me 2 weeks to complete and then it cracked in half and I had to do it over again. Someone has a sense of humor...
I really enjoyed doing this Salad bowl. It was a wedding gift and the gentleman who ordered it from me gave me a great tip :)

Our "You Are Special" plates have (unfortunately) never gone out of style.
I do so many of these...

Wedding Plates are my favorite to do. We keep the design simple and sell a special pen with it so people can sign the plate at the reception.
*note that these are not stick people*
